I believe that my tennis talent is a gift, an opportunity to fufill & empower my self, a roadmap to excellency & successa path to learn how to strive always for the best. My tennis life brought me to travel around the world, explore different cultures, meet wonderfull people & make strong network with my fellow tennis players. Balancing academics with a professional tennis career

Balancing academics with a professional tennis career from a young age has taught me resilience, independence & adaptability. Competing on the WTA tennis tour introduced me to diverse cultures and environments, igniting my passion for design as a means of empowerment and connection. These experiences have profoundly shaped my personal growth and approach to my field.

Significant Challenges

One of the most significant experiences that shaped my identity was participating in professional tennis. It taught me the importance of creating my reality rather than accepting circumstances as they are. I recall a competition in South Korea where, despite the odds, I won against a higher-ranked opponent. This experience taught me that at any given moment, there are countless possibilities and ways to succeed. It instilled in me the courage to embrace the unknown and the audacity to innovate.

Athletic scholarship to Virginia Tech

Receiving an athletic scholarship to Virginia Tech allowed me to transform my childhood passion into a career path in architecture. Over the past four years, I have led the university’s collegiate tennis team to numerous achievements at the ACC D1 level while continuing to play professionally and excelling academically. This dual pursuit has instilled in me a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

"It's not over intil it's over"

My best memory as an athlete There was one match at the Tennis Europe tournament that truly shaped my perception in and belief in my tennis play. It was a game-changer that defined me as a player. I remember losing the first set 6:1 and being down 5:0, 40:0 in the second set. My opponent thought the game was over, but I decided to stick to the phrase: "IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL IT'S OVER." I began fighting my way back into the match, point by point, game by game. I came back, won the second set, and eventually the match. From that match, I learned that I am mentally strong and can come back from any deficit—something I have done many times since then.

Cross border friendships

As a multinational (Israeli and French) WTA professional tennis player. I have learned to collaborate and communicate effectively with people from various backgrounds, fostering friendships across borders.this has reinforced my belief in inclusion and belonging, core values I deeply appreciate and integrate into my work.

5th year tennis festival

Nowadays, with my athletic scholarship completed and as I work on my architecture thesis, I have joined the VT Club Tennis at the university. It's a paradise for tennis lovers, where I meet wonderful students who share my passion for practicing and competing against other universities. It's a real pleasure, and I'm always happy to share both technical expertise and mental resilience with my peers. In the meantime, I am also preparing for some professional WTA tournaments that I intend to participate in the near futur.
